MEET OUR STAFF

ilana Engel

Owner, Dog Walker, Boarder, Cat Visits
Ilana started dog walking in college in 2006. She took up dog boarding part-time while she pursued freelance graphic design and illustration. After falling in love with lots of adorably furry faces, she decided to take on hanging out with dogs full-time. She has been surrounded by dogs daily ever since.

John Cole

Dog Walker, Daycare, Cat Visits, Dog Sitter
John, who loves hiking, spends most of his time with the dogs in Prospect Park. John has a deep love and knowledge of nature and the outdoors. He heads up any hiking or camping excursions the PSP family takes during the Spring and Summer seasons.

Alfonso Martin

Dog Walker, Cat Sitter, Dog Sitter
Alfonso moved from Venezuela to pursue a career as a comic book artist in the States. His love of fluffy puppies is only rivaled by his love of all things Art.

Ryan Thomas

Dog Walker, Cat Visits, Dog Sitter
Ryan enjoys seeing bands play, walking through Prospect Park with his dog Garm and cuddling with his cat, Squeakers. He studied Psychology but more recently plans on pursuing a career in Urban Agriculture, alongside his job at PSP.


Holley Sorrells

Dog Walker, Dog Sitter
When Holley is not trying to find out the hopes and dreams of Brooklyn doggo’s, she is involved in an acting studio in Midtown, reading comics, playing racket ball or soccer and trying to think of the perfect podcast idea!

Gary ESposito

Dog Sitter / Cat Sitter
Gary has been walking and sitting for dogs for the past 5 years on his own and joined PSP in late 2022. Catch Gary hanging out at the local comic shop or convention!



Alan Weisberg

Dog Walker, Cat Visits, Dog Sitter
When he isn’t cuddling with dogs or cats, he plays videogames and watches anime, both of which he has excellent taste in!

Amanda Sky Frey

Behavioral Trainer
Aside from motherhood and behavioral training, Amanda enjoys gardening, creating with fiber arts, playing bass, going to shows, baking, traveling, kayaking, and singing.

Miche Griffin

Dog Walker
Miche's lifelong passion for animals began at a young age growing up on a farm where she learned to ride a horse before a bike. Her journey training her German Shorthair Pointer and meeting his needs in New York City, combined with her professional psychology background, led her to make dog care a full-time career. When not working with dogs, Miche enjoys practicing yoga, taking photos, writing, and being an active member of the Park Slope community.
